Pretty much...hehe.....lemme clarify that a little better....You say it on the FIRST day of each month....in this case September 1, 2005...and then...everyone who sees, hears, or reads it looses their luck and gives it to you for that month!!! HAHAHA!! So who ever says it to you steals ur luck for that month. So technically I have a lotta luck right now!! YAY!!!

Thats not the way I remember it...

When I was little it was that "bunny bunny" would be the last things you would say outloud before going to bed on the night before the new month, then on the morning of the new month the first words you're supposed to speak are "rabbit rabbit". If you break this habit you don't get good luck, but you don't get bad luck either.

It's actually kinda funny you mentioned this... I saw a rabbit while I was walking my puppy this morning and it made me think of it...
