i was wondering were do the finger sized rabbit snails come from and are they brackish salt or fresh?

there was another post on mfk iding them but no origion or water type information was there the ones im talking about are black and finger sized they look almost like a giant malaysion trumpet snail cone shaped

Which ones exactly? There are two groups I know of. The ones with varied colors are from Sumatra (Lake Malili and Lake Poso to be exact). The other one with more pointed tips on their shells have various locations although they can also be seen in the Philippines. Both are freshwater although the latter can be found in estuarines.

can the varied colored ones from sumatra thrive at sg 1.010 also wat do i feed them and wat are there names

I've never tried them in brackish setup. Their water parameters are high pH, low KH/GH though. They are unlikely to survive brackish I believe. Their water is fresh.
