I saw cute white baby Rabbits at one of the nearest petstores today and wondered if I should buy one. Anyone with experience to share?

What kind of rabbit is it? Some are huge as hell. I have a hybrid drawf rabbit and it grew bigger than a Rex or a Newfoundlander. It is the same age as me too.

Cool, I am not sure what species of rabbit it is. It was small, white colour, high pointy ears. I don't think their eyes were in red though, I could be wrong. I will definitely have to go check them again.

I had a rex, a dwarf and a Giant White when I was a kid. They're good pets if you have time for them. They should really be let out everyday to run around in some sort of outdoor pen for exercise. I recommend the dwarf ones cause well...they stay small and you can hold them easily. My Giant White probably weighted close to 20 lbs and used to scratch the hell out of me when I went to hold him.

Not drawf rabbits, mine doesn't... but that's because it's a hybrid. They usually have a desginated bathroom spot in a corner. Don't know why drawf rabbits do this, but not others.

We've had rabbits pretty much my whole life. They're good pets but some can be territorial/aggressive (mostly males). They can be trained to use a litterbox but it takes a while and sometimes they still go wherever they want to. They're extremely prone to chewing on anything that hangs down in their paths, including electrical wires, which can cause some serious problems if you don't guard against that.

And most rabbits hate to be held. A lot of them like petting, but get upset when you pick them up.

If you've got more questions I can probably answer them for you.

In my case, they don't like being picked up at all or put down... but they don't mind being held. All the ones I have contact with, they would come up to you and let you hold and manipulate them, but if you to force them -- forget about it, they will fight.

But a lot animals are like that. Most dogs and cats like being held by their owners, but they don't like being picked up by their owners.

I have a european dwarf or something like that. It is a good rabbit and doesn't mind being held she just doesn't like being picked up or put down. She goes right in her cage into her litter box when she has to go to the bathroom. And it isn't just the dwarfs that designate a spot. I have had rex's, mini rex's, the big lop ears, and another kind idk what it was and they all were like that.
