my local track, south bend motor speedway has been closed since this time last year:( i grew up being able to watch the races out my second story bedroom window. have ran demolition and raced there since 1995. and am only 29! we (my uncles, father, brothers, wife, even the kids-tricycleraces) have been there w/o fail year after year. it was supposed to be bulldozed for a subdivision and now is trying to be saved by racers! please at least look at stockcarextreme and see our plight! i am in no way asking for money! just people who understand and can add encouragement to us to keep this icon around! please help! i will be the the towing company at the race oct 18! and you can bet your butt me and our whole family will be out there pulling weeds as well as my racing teams family! at least look at our plight and hope your not next to deal with this!
 
hay man...hawaii shut down the only race way on Oahu....it sucked, but we found a way around it. laws are harsh, but i hope you find a way bro.
 
we are finding a way! doing it for ourselfs! i will not stand by and let them build a subdivision where we grew up! not while i can try and make the difference, we hunted the back parking area for rabbit since i was 6, not gonna let that go!
 
anyone on here knows that i post my race cars, blowed up engines, and wrecked cars since i singed on in 06!

We don't even have a track in the metro here. I feel your pain.
 
we do and we want to keep it! haynchinook334 you do anything to save your track? we are taking my trucks mowers and slave labor (aka the kids)?
 
theres no track in staten. the closest one is englishtown race one.. everyone just street races
