I know some of you guys run a few more than a handful of tanks and have them on racks. Whats the most cost effective/filter effective way to do it? A big pump hooked up to some pvc that feeds lines to the tanks to run sponge filters and air stones? I have it like this just wondered if everyone else does this, I know if you were to go HOB or canister on a lot of tanks your electric bill would be through the roof. Maybe on the more heavily stocked one's I can imagine throwing a HOB, but for the most part I use sponge, any one care to share their set up for multiple tanks on racks?

:chillpill: amehel0 :D, that's what can happen when you don't write directly to the reply window. I changed it just to be able to read it .

Filtration depends on the type of fish and the bio-load.

What are you keeping?

Well for now I have 60's that are going to be stocked with 2 fish mainly for breeding purposes. Nothing heavily stocked. And the two will have individual tanks when not ready to breed. Just curious if anyone else did this, just run 2 sponge filters instead of HOB for one fish per a 60g.

-and amehel0, why don't you chill, why would I want your advice when there are tons other's on the board who won't mind replying to my thread despite how my font looks like? Its all good, no problem with you, but you came on a little strong man.:):):)
