Radar Dectector-Escort Passport 9500i or Valentine One??

I've been using the Passport 8500 for 4 years with no tickets. Here's what my research has told me. The V1's range is a little better than the 9500i but is so sensitive that it's constantly going off the whole time you're driving. The 9500i's range is a little shorter but is jam packed with all kinds of awesome features. I'm leaning towards the Passport at this point. Actually probably be ok with either one but I'm used to the Passport and the way it works.
Save your money and just go with the flow of traffic.
Last time I got a speding ticket was 15 years ago, while I owned a top of the line radar detector. They only work when you are in general traffic. If you are the only one on the road chances are your gonna get nailed either way.

No radar will substitute for common sense and instinct. With that said, I swear by the V1. Granted, I nearly lost my license about a year ago when I blew by a state trooper doing WELL over the speed limit and the V1 never made a chirp until I was right in front of the cop. Live you learn
