So my step dad has a 6" Striped Raphael Catfish which apparently got a bit territorial and beat up one of his other catfish and he's basically dumping it on me.
I have a 120g tank but it has a 3.5" Pike Cichlid, 5"/8"/10" Senegal Bichirs and a 11" Ropefish. I'd like to put this 6" Raphael Catfish into this tank with the Bichirs though I don't want any of my fish to get beat up on. There's plenty of shade and hiding spots in the tank but I'm still a bit apprehensive.
Anyway, are Raphaels normally territorial or aggressive? Would it be fine with my current set up or should I not bother?
I do have a spare 40 gallon breeder tank which is running but is empty right now. I was actually about to take it down tomorrow until my step dad contacted me about the catfish so if he isn't compatible, he can go in there. I'd just rather the catfish be in a larger tank.
