some where over the rainbow
got a 100 gal outdoor pond liner filled, but it has been rainy out here, is it ok to put the koi, commets, and a channel cat in now? or should i wait? and if i do put them in will the rain effect them at all? should i bring them in or leave them out if we are supost to get alot of rain??

i have a 140g pond my fish stay in all year rain or snow have not lost one yet

Depending on where you are rain could change the pH so you may wish to check that, also rain can lower pond temperatures so when first adding the fish try to have the fish kept at near current pond temps. Other than that the only problem I see is making sure you have adequete drainage for overflow that the fish cannot swim away through.

yeah got the over flow (drilled holes yesterday) cant float them in bags like you do with aquariums? and i also heard koi dont do well in ponds that are less then 4 ft deep, mine is only about 2 at the deepest part. im not going to leve them in it over the winter.
