I was at a LFS and they had a tank full of fsih labeled as rainbow arowana not silver but they looked like a silver to me. Is there really a rainbow arowana or they just calling a silver that to jack up the price. Its looks just like a silver but with silver and a little pinkish coloring

Sounds like silvers. They often have a light pinkish coloring, especially towards their tails and on their fins.

No kidding. It's amazing what people will do to confuse the general public...anything to make a buck.

What was it selling for? I have a rainbow arowana too ...I'll let it go to the highest bidder.

maybe it came from the rainbow farm? although i dont know if theyre breeding silvers too... they mostly breed asians only.
