I have a group of 5 Rainbows in a 60g cube. There have been multiple spawns but this is the first viable and they are now free swimming. I do not know when the spawn occurred. Occupants include about a dozen Harlequin rasbora and 6 ish juvenile BNP.

Very cool! My rainbow cichlid fry always got picked off in my community tank, so I had to pull them and raise them separately.

I need to steal mine too. I think the numbers are dwindling.

Stole some of the fry and moved them to the grow chamber

May have a second pair forming. I might need to upgrade or re-home.

This fellow was not happy with me trying to get a picture. He was actually charging at me.PXL_20211015_022857513.jpgPXL_20211015_022920027.jpg

Mine just runs away, at least yours comes to the camera lol
These are definitely a harder cichlid to photograph, not like my jd or parrot that just sit there.

They usually run but his nest is right up front in the tank.
