I believe I have a pair in my 75 but am unsure.
However the dominant male has claimed a spot so I put a rock on it to stop his digging and allow him a place to spawn. I've never breed anything outside of shrimp and guppies so this is new for me.
Am I right in assuming that the male is trying to clear a place for eggs, and will then try and get the female to lay in his spot? He's taken over almost half the tank (I need dithers, bleh) but the female as of now seems uninterested.
Any advice for me? Idk what I'll do if they do spawn and eggs hatch. Or how exactly that will effect the other fish in the tank.
