Rainbow Fish advice

I wasnt sure what category these came under so hopefully a admin will move it if i posted in the wrong place.
I have these guys in my tank, but know nothing about them other then there rainbow fish.
What sort of size will they achieve, lifespan? if anyone knows this types true name that would be great as i can do some of my own research

They look like boeseman's rainbow fish from what I see. They'll grow pretty large, up to 12 cm and they are very sensative to chlorine as juveniles.

Thanks for that, I did some googling defo the sort you suggested, iv seen some red ones on youtube too may have to hunt them down tOo strange but beautiful fish

Boesmani for sure! I've kept drysdale river, emerald, yellow, and dwarf neon rainbows before. Very beautiful fish. Tons of personality. Very active when the lights first come on.

Yep, a Boesmani. Great and beautiful fish, especially once you get it a quality diet and good conditions.

Don't offer foods too large, as they have smaller throats for their mouth size. I've heard a dark substrate really brings out their colors.
