hey guys im just wondering cause i just lost 2 rainbows and soon to be one more:(, can rainbow snakehead get ich? cause on my snakehead there are these white spots on them, and because they are sub tropical, i dont have a heater in the tank, what should i do? also the snakehead arnt eating and i already did a pretty big water change.

it might likely be the water change, channa really dislike large water changes! How much and how often did you do water changes prior to this?

well i did maybe a 60% water change, and after maybe 2 hours after the water chance the snakeheads were eating and everything NORMAL, then a day after they stopped eating and stoped moving, this was about 4 days ago, and now there still not eating

They dont like large water changes, the effects may not be present right away, but it does affect them in the long run, which seems to be happening to yours. Tell us more about your setup, w/c's temps whether salt was added, filtration?

as above , need more information about set up , tell us everything you can about your set-up , try and include tank temp ,when and how often you change water , ph , nitrite and amonia level if known , tank size ,planted or not , lighting wattage ect ,what filteration you are running ect , all fish can get ich but i have never seen a channa with it , they are very resistant to ich ,

cheers col
