Rainbow wolf fish tankmates?

I have a 75 gallon planted tank with some mid size cichlids between 3" and 5", and several plecos between 2" and 4". My lfs has a 5" red/rainbow wolf fish that has my interest, but I'm nervous that it'll damage or eat some of my current fish. I don't think aggression towards the wolf will be an issue as my cichlids are pretty docile and so are the plecos. I just dont want to find the wolf chomping on my fish one day. Does anyone have any input on this?

Agreed. My erythrinus was a real prick to most tankmates. Eventually had to keep him alone. That doesn’t seem to be the norm with these guys though as most seem to be successful with tankmates.
