I need some help on setting up an environment for a wolf fish. I 'm starting with a 55 gal that incorporates aquaponics, with a K1 micro fluidized bed. What kind of substrate should I incorporate ? What does its diet consist of? The tank is cycled with a temperature of 83.5 degrees .

Substrate can be anything. The wolf isn’t picky. If ur planning for a planted tank then a different substrate maybe needed. Red wolves will take most pellets and prepared foods without any difficulty.

Would reduce ur temp down to 78.
