Rainbow x white con

I just picked up a pair of rainbow cichlids, looking for guidance on what I should try first.

I have a few projects I’m trying to achieve:

1) Leucistic parrot/con hybrids (I have a male and female parrotcon hybrids)

2) White cons with yellow color either from cutteri or from the new rainbow cichlids

2a) if the above can be achieved, the next progression would be yellow/white parrot con rainbow/cutteri hybrid.

I think I’ll try the rainbow with some white con females. The cutteri are taking forever to grow out.


Has anyone seen any rainbow cichlid hybrids? Not seeing anything on the web

The fish you are talking about in 1 sound like short body pink convicts.
