Rainbows with CA?

I'm curious... Has anyone has ever tried keeping rainbows with CA? I have a 180g with some Viejas around 4-6". I have an extremely small chocolate pleco in the tank (about 2") that they never bother. There are also some clown loaches they don't bother either, but they're fairly large. What do you guys think?

I have two rainbows with my CA's they don't bother them at all they actually chase each other since they are both males

I used them as dithers once they seemed to be fine in there.

I'm tempted to try, but it's an expensive snack if it goes awry haha

Buying fish always brings the risk of an expensive snack! I kept some rainbows with Jack Dempseys for a bit, that became an expensive snack! Jacks were 8" rainbows were 3-4".

I've used them as dithers before. Just get cheap ones from petsmart

x2 get the creap ones,from the crapmart.i think they are called generic austrailian rainbows.i had them in with a few SA that left them alone,mixed results with CA.worth a try if you can pay 1.99.or try giant danios

Thanks, but I wanted Bosemani . I think I will just opt for more clown loaches instead if I can find large enough ones.
