Maybe the massive ice shelf braking off the canadian artic was a fluke, but this is proof enough for me. Global warming is having a serious effect. It is raining in MN right now, and there isn't a millimeter of snow on the ground. When I was a young Wurm, we would go snowmobiling after school every day from the middle of November until at least March. Now, mine sits in the garage, untouched for over 9 months. Give me whatever excuse you want, this is no climate cycle. This is a warming trend. My senior year in high school, my car was buried under a snow drift completely for two days. Now, none.

try 75 here with close to flooding rain. just hope it stops for ny night so we can blow the block up...
This sucks. I haven't seen a good snow in years. I think we got a few inches last year, just enough to make the roads crappy.
