Great pics. I like the definition in the 'sunny-side up eggs' on your rays. And, that C. spectabilis is displaying some awesome color for its' size.
Thank you sir! The specs- this is the first time ive kept them and honestly have been underwhelmed with the colors so far (compared to pics i see)...

How did you get one? I stopped looking when I couldn't find them for sale..... I imagine I can't afford them anyway... But still, where do you get one nowadays?
I got lucky... a friend who had him was taking down his big tank...but it still cost me more then my first car! lol There are some around for sale but prepared to spend in the 4 figures.
This guy was about 10". Nice pearling but no intensity in his reds. I wanted to pond him to get him colored up more but, that plan was nixed when I had to relocate.
This one was nearly 10" with good color in his fins but not much yet in the body.
Unfortunately, I had to sell my trio before I could get any further with them.
Thanks- the one in the pic is my female..the male is a bit bigger but VERY dark almost black
