I noticed my Comet Goldfish had a raised bump on it. No outter discoloration at all. It is in a 100 gallon stock tank outside with anacharis. These fish have been in this tank with these plants now for 5 months. Water parameters checked ok. The bump was under the scales and now has broken open. I netted the fish out and saw what looked like white cottage cheese underneath it. The fish is healthy. The fish swims around fine. The fish eats fine. Shows no other signs of stress. None of the other tank mates show any signs of this. 2 common goldies, 2 shubbies , 1 gold dojo loach, 3 mollies i couldnt catch, 1 female guppy.
