ok so i raised my water temp from 79F to 85F to house peacock bass and now i have cloudy water

is it possible that the temperature is alittle too high and that killed off a few of the beneficial bacteria, maybe you could check your water parameter to make sure all levels are fine?
Could be a bacterial bloom.
The warmer water could have caused a growth spurt in the established colony.
Just like fish, the warmer water increases the metabolism and could account for your murky water.
Should settle down once the food/bacteria ratio gets back in synch.

cool thank u, i was reading that the oxygen levels might drop so i added more air and keeping an eye on the parameters. there was a small ammonia spike not lethal levels so i added some fresh water and prime.
