raising 1 inch Dats

Just got myself a 1 inch Dat and 2 2 inchers
How often should i feed them? will they be ok with once a day feeding?
I noticed the 1 incher seems to have preference for my beefheart mix

Congratulations on getting the lil one to eat. I would suggest many very small feedings throughout the day. CHANGE LOTS OF WATER!

^^^ this. Small Dats like to eat constantly. I used to feed 3-4 smaller meals a day.

btw here are some pics, he's really small and skinny

thanks, will try to feed him more, wish he accepts pellets, but so far he just ignores the sinking pellets .
i have bigger tinfoils in the tank, but will remove them

try blackworms, they fatten up on those

They're not easy to pellet train. I did notice a bit of a sunken belly in that last pic so feed them as much as often as they will eat. Don't worry about pellets right now until they're fatter.

thanks He seems to love beefheart. I'll try to get my hands on blackworms, will frozen bloodworms be ok?

Yea anything he is willing to eat at this point. They seem to love market shrimp/prawn as well.
