I just acquired 3 4"+ Bowfin. I believe 2 are Male and one is female. i say this because the one (female) has a very faded ocellus (eye spot) and is a uniform color (drab) the other 2 have alot of marbling, prominent eye spots and DARK bars through the fins(males). question is , Who has raised more than one bowfin in the same tank? and was there any aggression between them as they matured? (other than fighting over food)Having 2 males and a female may make this worse(at least between the males with a female present) they're currently alone in a 75Gal and are technically still babies. just wondered if i'll have to get rid of a male later down the road or put one male in his own tank. (just trying to plan ahead) Yes, before anyone mentions it, i know how big they get, and the 75 is a pretty good temp grow out tank.they will have upgraded space as they grow. Any thoughts? anyone raise more than 1 together to maturity? thanks
