Can someone give me a simple fool proof method of raising baby brine shrimp to feed fry?

Regular or decapped eggs? What kind of salt do I use? How much? What temp? How much aeration? Lighting? And time to hatch?

I grab a handful of rock salt, throw it in a shallow hatching pan, fill the pan with old tank water, dump in some eggs, and start harvesting in about 24 hours.

In summer, I have a couple preformed ponds, that I dump any left over rock salt from melting ice on the sidewalk, and pour some eggs in every week, and harvest everything from bbs to adults all summer long (no heat, no airstones, just sun and breeze).
They get green with algae that feed the adults.

Cool, so I can just throw a hand full of rock salt in a 2 liter bottle and raise bbs? Is there a recomended amount ... say tablespoon per liter or anything?

bottle Method #1:

This is the simplest method for hatching BBS- Take a 2L (0.52 Gallons) bottle, fill it 3/4 with

de chlorinated water and 3 teaspoonfuls of salt. After the salt is completely dissolved, insert an

Air-stone and activate the Air-pump, then insert about 3/4 teaspoonfuls of BS eggs.

In a temperature of about 24-26oC (75.2-78.8oF/ 297-299oK) the eggs should hatch in about 24-48 hours.

Harvesting- Shut off the Air-pump and let the water settle down for a couple of minutes. As the Nauplii are

attracted to light and the hatched eggs tend to float, use a flashlight to aim a light beam to the

bottom of the bottle. Once the BBS are down on the bottom, and all the eggs are on the surface, insert an

Air-tube and siphon the BBS through a BS-mesh and then feed to the fish fry. Another way is to block the

bottle's opening with your palm, and turn the bottle upside-down, using the same trick with the flashlight, so

that the BBS will be near the bottle's opening and the eggs will float to the surface.

Then, by moving your hand a bit, you can pour the BBS and salt-water to another vessel and then pour the

BBS to the fry's tank, or pour them directly from the hatchery to the tank.

A word of caution! Some fish fry are very sensitive to salt in the aquarium's water.

Hence, this method is mainly not recommended, unless used for cichlid fry, and also

without guarantee to the fry's welfare.

For One Litre of water you need 35 gm salt(Normal Salt) that which does not contain iodine. I table spoon of artemia cyst can be added to this water and aeriated in a normal way. Wait for 36 hrs finally stop the areation and you can see many new nauplis swimming by using a soop net you can take them for feeding your fishes.
bye and take care

Add a little bleach to your salt solution. It will increase your hatch rate. The bleach softens the capsule the egg is in. Before feeding the baby brine shrimp, put them in a brine shrimp net and rinse the salt off under running water.
