I just purchased a 15lb bag of crushed coral to raise the ph in my 150g set up. The Ph is currently at 7.0. I want to bring it to 7.5-7.8.
How much of the crushed coral should I add to the tank?

And also how much should I add at 1 time? I know it is not good to raise the ph too much at one time...

Any suggestions??

Start slowly, adding about 1/4 to 1/2 lb at a time. Check your pH every couple hours after adding the crushed coral and continue to add untill you reach the desired level.

If you have a canister, it may work well to add the CC to that, if possible.

Yes I do have a fluval 405, but it is full with media. I pretty much use the fluval to polish my water...I also have (2) Emperor 400's

Should I only raise a little bit each day...Or it's safe to raise to 7.5 in 1 day?

If it's at 7 now, a half point swing isn't going to make things go spiraling out of control. You should be fine. You could add some CC to the grey inserts of the Emperor 400's.
