What is the safest and most efficient way to raise the ph of a planted tank? i have a 46 gal bow and i experimented with DIY CO2 and that dropped my ph to about 6.0 i need to raise it back to around 7.0.
thanks for the help

I add a teaspoon of baking soda and a tablespoon of GH booster to my 135 gallon tank after my weekly 50% water change. This buffers the PH to around 6.8-7.2.

The baking soda is what raises and buffers the PH. Just be careful a little goes a long way and drastic PH changes can be harmful to fish.

Thanks for the help and the change happens real fast its already went up like .4-.5 ph i think ill spread it out over a couple days
