how fast is safe to raise temp for ich my current temp is about 78 my heater will increase about 1 degree per hour. can i just raise it straight to 86 or should i stagger it somehow?
I always raise the temp straight to 88(86 degrees doesnt do it for me) when treating ich.. IMO fish can withstand higher changes in temperature changes than lower temperatures.. Don't forget about the salt.
