Ram Dwarf Cichlids

I was just wondering how you tell a male ram cichlid from a female one because i wanted to keep a pair and breed them.

Males usually have more developed and pointed dorsal fin. The black spike of the front dorsal fin is also more pronounced. Females usually have pink belly.
