Rams will breed in hard water?

Hi I was wondering if german rams will survive/breed in moderately hard water?

They will, but there's a very low probability that it will be successful, even if they hatch the fry might not survive it. For most fish if they are tank raised, they will thrive in whatever conditions (within reason) are thrown at them, as long as they are consistent.

If you want a small cichlid that looks great and will do well in harder water, might I suggest "rainbow cichlids?"

Ok then i guess i have to put that manzanita in my tank. its about time anyways will that help? its leaching tannins/brown water like a crazy train.
