Ramshorn snails

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
With a clean toothbrush yes. Like, never before used clean. Try and use a toothbrush wish rubber on it, or use a tounge cleaner on some toothrbushes. They'd work best.

Or you could get some Siamese algae eaters to eat the algae off of you algae eaters...

I just wanted to see if I could type that and have it make sense :screwy:.

A toothe brush is fine just don't squeeze them or they're fish food.

Having clean snails is a stated goal in our mission statement. Great work!

Adding an algae eater to eat algae off of your ramshorns will result in decayed shells. You should check your lighting levels, and nitrogen levels. My ramshorn snail gets a ridiculous amount of nitrogen each day, and a ton of light. I don't have a single algae problem.
