rancho growout thread!-)

hey all, decided to start a grow out thread for my 4 month old sons first fish, he is a rancho goldfish called rex, he could hit 12 inch if well cared for but he is about 40 mm atm... heres some shots of him some of you may have already seen. he is currently in a 1ft cube but soon will be in my 35g once ive repaired it.

nice, i see a massive orange and white bobbly eyed one (not technical name lol) a while back, quite a sight! he looks kinda like your dog lol

First of all CONGRATS on your son and I love the idea of your thread. My oldest son and I have a blast with our tanks.

The fish looks neat. I don't normally look at goldfish but this has given me an idea for my youngest (5 yrs) as he wants his own fish now too.

looks like a beast!-) shame you couldnt get some clearer pics, hard to imagine a goldfish being bigger and messier than the largest oscars lol
