Just got home and my 3y.o blood parrot and my new 9" bala shark are dead. Only thing that's been different is the bala had a couple little white spots on him so we put in rid ich. Other than that nothing different. Gf's BP and she's very upset about it...

Nope, but I have other fish in the tank and they are akll perfectly fine.

Possibly, but, why wouldnt it affect the smaller fish? The Shark and the Parrot were the largest fish in the tank - my Upside down cat. The rest are around 3-4'' and none of them were affected by it....

And I used as directed. I only used one treatment.

blood parrots have pretty messed up immune systems from hybridization and inbreeding so they are pretty vulnerable to disease and overmedication. I also know most cyprinids are pretty prone to overmedication, mostly loaches and the like but as a group they are still pretty prone to too much meds. most synodont catfish are pretty tank and are less vulnerable then you might think. as a rule I never use over 1/2 the recommended dose with average fish and never over 1/3 or 1/4 the recommended dose with fish that have a reputation for sensativity.

Thanks I'll remember that next time

Yeah it's fine
