when we want these flowerhorns to grow nice big Koks...do we need to feed them those chingmix headbooster? I know that they will also need good genetics to get Koks but wanted to know if those were the only options if wanting them to grow nice and big ones...

catfish its not as simple as that. The fish has to have genetics for KoK you can't just feed a flowerhorn headbooster and your guaranteed to grow one. You can use ching mix Humpy head and grand sumo.

feeds only enhance the potential of your fish. you cant develop anything that is not in there in the first place. if the parents are both koky, there is a better chance of that kok developing well
