How does the Luteus rank with big plecos (over 10" adults) as far as beauty and rarity? What beats it in that size category?
I personally feel the Luteus is a really nice looking plec and very rare or should I say, hard to find, because of it's price. It's more available in place like Singapore and Europe, because most of them are willing to pay the hefty price. I've never seen it available in the U.S. until now....

For those in the U.S. that are interested, check out the classifieds section for XoticAquatix and ask Waldo about their Hobbyist Import Program and their current import lists...they've got some Luteus and other Brazilian/Peruvian plecos available at great prices. I've just learned about this program and it looks like this will blow open the doors for more selection here in the U.S......:clap
