So whenever I don't have money for a new tank all these CL ads go up for amazing prices on 180+ gallon tanks around my area. Now when I do have money no one has a tank to sell and the sellers all end up flaking out on me at the end of the day :"( whyyyy? is it just bad luck?

Gotta be dedicated to saving when you do have money and they aren't there tell yourself its fish money and don't blow it so then when the tanks come you still have the money
 
Lol I'm just complaining. So last week I contacted a guy on CL about him selling his fish tank for 450 firm he told me that he has work and I wont be able to pick it up until Thursday which is today. This morning I got a text from him saying asking if I can wait another week cause someone in his family passed away. Now when it comes to things like this I am a very understanding guy but I wanna hear from you people with more CL experience. You guys think its a flake? Or is it genuine? I mean if his family member really passed away I can understand but I have known many people to make up absurd stories to buy time and excuse a flake. Now I need some advice from u pros. Do I wait and pray he is telling the truth(if he is I'm sorry about his loss) or do I go on a settle for another tank

Lol well me being impatient went and stretched my catfish whiskers a lil farther nd found myself a 240 gal! Now I'm satisfied lol I'm sorry Craigslist i love you agian haha :D
