Both have armory body types, however, based on experience, plecos tend to suck other fishes slime coat, so, could I still put them together in the same tank?
I may add Chinese Algae eaters also, they're a bad ass slime coat sucker as well. I've just though that, with those armory body that raphael has, other fish wouldn't bother them. What do you guys think?Do you have any success keeping those fishes together?

i have both of them in my tank and they are absolutely fine

I've got 4 Raphaels in different tanks that have never so much as looked at the other fish. I've also got a total of 8 different kinds of fancy plecs that I've kept with lots of different kinds of fish in different tanks and none has ever touched a single slime coat. That may happen....I can see it happening with commons occasionally because they get so huge and are such bold fish.....but other than that it's certainly nothing I'd worry about. My Raphaels and Plecs are fine together, I've never had a single problem with then.

thanks, I've thought about it in the beginning, with the spines that raphael have, no fishes would wanna bother them.
