What medications should I use to treat a raphael cat with the early signs of ick? It's not full blown, but he is rubbing himself on aquarium decor and there are small white spots on his anal fin. I heard they don't fair too well with malachite green, which most ick meds have. Can anyone reccomend me a good medication??? I love the little guy as he is the most actice raphael I have ever seen, had him for a few months so I don't want to lose him.

i used the anti ick from petco that is organic and it smells like garlic. I bought 2 and they got ick shortly after purchase and it worked out well for me.
most of the ick medications warn against using them with Raphaels and similar fish, but it can be done if you use a lower dosage of the medication for a little bit longer. Of course you should try the organic method and raising the heat first.
