Hey i was just wondering what the raphael cats would act like with two as opposed to one. when i first got cory's i only had one now that i have more they are alot more interesting.

one more or leave it at one.

I have 2 Raphael cats in my Piranha tank. When I had 1, it would lay around all day underneath a rock. With 2, they would lay around all day, but sometimes they'll be under 2 different rocks, and sometimes they'll be under the same. I havent noticed any difference in behavior. I'll have to shut the lights off early one night and keep an eye on their activity in the dark. I'm sure they're more active then, but haven't studied it at all.

I only have one. He's a little shy when the lights are on. He does come out w/the lights when food is around. Just saw a group of them at the LFS swimming together. I'm growing out some Clown Loaches so maybe he will join there gang.

they will fight over caves if there in short supplie but with lots of caves or no caves they get along just fine they don't seem to mind each other at all when little they like being with there own kind and some when large like the same

I have 2 spotted and 1 striped raphaels in one tank, but they only similarity is that they all hide in the drift wood, other than that they pretty much could care less about eachother.

I have 2 spotted Raph's and a fair amount of rocks and driftwood for them to hide about in and such. Never see any fights and usually only activity when the lights are out. But a really easy to maintain no personality (almost) fish.
