what do I do to rid this problem help me out!!! Its pretty bad and its on my full grown one that Ive had for a while now. he is about 5" recently lost the 2" one I had to the same problem but never see these guys out so I never knew they had a problem

that's a good start. Also might try some melafix. Beware of salt in freshwater though. Discontinue after he gets better. I've had fish with that and did 50% water change as soon as I noticed, and 10% daily until healed. Reduce feedings as well. Check your filtration to see if it is adequate for your feeding schedule as well as not needing cleaned. Your water params will definitely be to blame unless you have a tailbiter fish in with him. Might want to check your params to see if you need adjustment to your filtration somewhere.
