This guy is a little *****. Can't stand it anymore. I bought him with the idea to grow him out in a tank of his own to have a show fish for the living room.
Guess not.
I've owned him since late Feb and I can't get him to eat so he's not growing. The convicts I bought as dithers for him are now almost his size and are bossing him around. He hides out and freaks when you get near the tank. The last straw happened tonight when I walked past the tank and he freaked out and crashed around for a good minute.
I have a thread HERE where I go into what I've done to try to get him to eat. I've now tried raw shimp in addition to earthworms, wax worms, snails, Massivore, Hikari gold, Omega One, peas, and algea wafers all in conjunction with garlic extract.
Here is what he looked like when I got him.
And a recentish video of what happens when I turn out the room lights. What a freak. You can see he's lost most of the black.

I've got over $100 into this guy (cost, shipping, foods, medication) but I'm really starting to detest him. Come get him in Woodburn and he's yours. I'll also consider trades for a Central American cichlid that will make a good centerpiece.
