Anyone know a site that has a profile on this fish? Anyone own this fish? What are your experiences? Ever try breeding? I looked at that adult pic in the rapps thread and wow. Just when i was making my list of choices to breed smaller... no i can't afford that fish 5 would be 500 bones ouch... and shipping those things are like diamonds of the fish world.

No link but I have some juvies.

They are uber-aggressive to conspecifics. They are extremely sensitive to bloat. Honestly, not very colorful as adults. I bought them because they are "rare"
 
wow! never thought the day would come 50.00 for 2-3 and 75.00 for the larger. Now here is the problem I have been having I get paid next friday! Will they be there then? every single time this happens Im out of luck..lol

I think with the amount Jeff is selling (seems like there's enough to go around) the beani might be making a good come back even sooner. Well I hope so anyway.
 
i think people are ordering beani because they got a little rare in the fish hobby for awile. there not very attractive fish imo.
 
I love how they look!! In 2001 I saw a picture for the first time and said I must have that fish went to the store and you guessed it! nobody knew what the hell I was talking about,finaly went home on then the slowest computer on earth and found out they cant be found anywhere.Its just a matter of time before my paycheck falls on the same day of availability lol
 
I'd like to own one someday. I think the price will come down once/if they get established in the hobby again. I'm pleased to see so many available.
