Rare Catfish? Hemisorubim platyrhynchos...

Found one at a LFS yesterday...its beat up, kinda skinny, but eats like a champ. Haven't gotten it yet. It was labeled as a TOA Catfish....not very helpful so i looked on PlanetCatfish and it looks like a Hemisorubim platyrhynchos. Spotted Shovelnose Catfish. Are they rare? Not rare.

Nice cat but it doesn't get as huge as most of the Pims do.

Kewl beans, never seen one before...pretty kewl looking. If it was in better shape i would pick it up for sure. Any Nebraskans see this its at Fish Store on 48th street......in Lincoln...

Isn't that one a hybrid? Will check it out. My neace is from lincon but is staying with us. I'll go their when we drop her off saturday. Can't find any phonebooks right know. Pm me if you remember the number and/or price

Not a hybrid, sold as a porthole shovelnose. They get 19" SL max.
