Rare cichlid?

hey guys i went to my local fish store today and i saw these two guys. I liked them so much i bought them for $30.00. the owner said they were very rare does anyone know anything about these.the guy said they didn't have a common name but the scientific name is melanochromis labrosus. thanks for any of your help.

yea as far as i know its pretty rare in the fish market ive only seen them once at a local pet shop for 25.00

Not a common fish, I believe due in part to the colors. Do you have pictures of what you bought?

i have only seen these once at a fish store, and rarely on line. good score. they arent super colourful, but nice big lips
