In The Jungle
With all the ups and downs of fish keeping it's finds like this that will always keep me In the fish game.

Its very cold out so I will post some pics tonight once it settles in.

It is a black lung with yellow spots on its face and body. I've only once ever seen a similar lung and that was a black with green bright spotted one.

:D:confused:

How big is the lungfish? It could be a South American Lungfish. South American Lungs are black with yellow spots when they are young.

Young SA.. they have been around

Cool. Finally a lung I can keep with other fish. So they all turn beige/tan?

Is about 6 inches or less. Real slender

These do NOT turn tan; but they lose the yellow spots.
They WILL eat other fish sometimes, but are less likely to, than the African ones.
Be careful - OTHER fish like to nip on their "arms" and fins.
