Check www.inlandempirediscus.com for local breeders if you're in Southern California - otherwise check with www.simplydiscus.com and see if they have any suggestions (the guys over there know their stuff).
I would recommend the red passions or gold crystal's - but keep in mind they're pigeon blood strains and if you don't keep them in a bare bottom tank they're likely to show peppering.
Also check with amazing_beta (I'm unsure if that's the correct spelling of his name) he breeds them locally and will sell nickel sized stock at excellent prices.
