Rare Red Cheek Barbs

Couldn't find a barb part of the forum. Super dither fish...mine are around 9 inches. When I purchased these guys there was no info on them...slowly but surely more info seems to become available. Very hardy species they say get up to 12 inches...perfect for an aggressive or predator type fish tank (smaller preds).

I bought them a few years ago at around 1 1/2 inches at Big Als in Kitchener, On. The big Als there used to stock various varieties of barbs but I never seen these guys, so I gave them a shot. They've done well with anything I've had (even a mbuna tank).

I saw two of them the other day for $7 each. I was going to pick them up but they were dyed purple.
