The main focus of my hobby is catfish and pseudopimelodus species in particular. In this case it's about p. bufonis of which I have 2 varieties. The first pic's are of the more common "giant bee cats", a fully grown pair @ 7" that I've had for around 8 years (got them from Wes @ Rare Fish) They are a nice peaceful species in a community tank. The other species(?) the black one is 11-1/2" long and have had it for maybe 5 years and is also fully grown. It's larger and much 'chunkier' than the others and way more agressive to the point that it must be kept separate from other pseudopimelodids (it almost killed a batrochoglanis villosus it didn't want to share a tank with) but will co-exist with a o. niger cat at one point and now with a couple of bichirs with no problems. BTW, got this one from John @ ECZS. Anyway here's some pic's of both...
