We made a special shipment and i was lucky to get in some
Paralabidochromis chilotes "ruti island".
I got in 4 adults, and they are the only 4 specimens in the USA. So i'm pretty lucky.

Lost that first spawn.
Second spawn had 1 fry make it and is now a sub adult.
i also have 5 growing out about 2 weeks old.
very infrequent spawners.
 
yeah, im very happy with the choice in this fish.

my Haplochromis thereuterion all died, as did the second guy's batch who also brought them in, the third guy's group is doing well, so hopefully get some fry off him.
my Neochromis omnicaeruleus Makobe just fight all the time and have not bred. Im thinking of trading them in for P. chromogynos a very similar looking fish, but considered more peaceful.
 
Do you happen to have anymore of the Paralabidochromis Chilotes Ruti Island? I would be willing to pay top dollar, I have been looking for them for years.
