Rash of Koi thefts

i agree there. i would say something smells fishy (no pun intended) about the 1st story seeing as its a business, losing over 40k in fish. however, the guy said his fish arent insured, so he stands to gain nothing in the end.

only way i could see it being done is with several people sein-netting the pond, grabbing the fish out and running. still not an easy or quiet operation by any means

i agree the quick and dirty way would be with a sein
 
There have been more over here in recent months. Bad weather people stay indoors more, we are lucky at the moment, the pond is not stocked , plus the animals going in and out keep the garden busy
