Sqratch, think bud is feeding the dat raw market shrimp, fd krill, earthworms, and mealworms. said it won't take any pellets tho! He previously also had a thinbar dat in his tank that was taking sinking, floating pellets, and algea wafers, plus all the above foods... he said he noticed a big difference in growth spurt compared to the widebar. Have you tried feeding any of the other foods listed? Give those a try. GL! :)
